What is Christians Open Minded?
COM is a multi-denominational Christian fellowship which promotes personal growth and a personal faith journey. COM provides students of all backgrounds a welcoming place to learn more about themselves, about others, and about God – without the fear of being judged. Just as each person has had their own experiences in their faith journeys, it is important that each person have the opportunity to decide what faith means to them and how to play it out in daily living. Rather than telling you what you SHOULD believe, COM is a place you can decide for yourself what to believe through investigating your faith on a personal level. To make it simple, COM is a personal walk with God.
What does COM do?
COM has many opportunities for fellowship, including mission opportunities, Friday Night activities, discussions, weekly Bible studies, and more! COM allows for the opportunity for true fellowship – the opportunity to make new and lasting friendships on the beautiful campus of Millersville University.
When does COM meet?
COM meets every week on Tuesday nights at 7:00pm in its NEW LOCATION “@ The Back Door” of the A-Frame Church (First United Methodist Church – 121 N. George St) near the Millersville University pond. This is a time for fellowship and discussion that we call COM-Unity. That’s what we are: a community of friends that you can feel comfortable with! We also hold weekly Bible Studies, Friday Night Fellowship all over Lancaster County, and much more!
