Open Now Each Friday! GRAND OPENING SPRING SEMESTER!!!
Last year we identified that there was a problem with some of our Millersville University students having enough food or money for food. Some were going without 1-2 meals a week, some have reported going without food for 1-2 days a week. As we continued to hear stories, we also began to do some more research. This is a problem for students at many universities throughout the nation.
The solution became clear! Students need to have food! We have begun a partnership with Millersville University, local churches, and the Central PA FoodBank to host a free student market called the Campus Cupboard. It is open on Fridays from 2-4:30pm. We have been open 3 weeks into this semester and have had 11, 13, 19 visitors respectively.
HOW CAN I DONATE!!!
Food donations are taken each Friday morning from 10-12.
Fridays this semester include November 30 and Dec 7th.
We will open again in the Spring semester on Friday, February 8th.

If you would like a tax deductable letter/receipt for your donation, please let Kirstin know at the time that you bring food.
Monetary donations at this time should be checks made out to “United Campus Ministry” and include in the memo section “Campus Cupboard”
For each dollar donated, we can purchase about $15 worth of food from the Central PA Foodbank. It has been an amazing partnership and provides nourishment to our students so that they have the energy to do better schoolwork and be prepared for more success to come! You will receive a tax deductable letter/receipt thanking you for your donation.
